Small independent, artisan distillery producing small batch, handmade spirits. Natalie and Ben experiment with Tasmanian botanicals in unusual ways and are based in the industrial area of Moonah in Hobart, where the water is piped from a lake of snow melt at Mount Field National Park. We launched their distillery in late 2018 with their first Gin through a pozible campaign where we sold out of their first two batches and raised close to $34 000 to help get their business started. 

For the identity we looked to Taylor & Smith’s approach to distillation, drawing upon traditional spirit bottle typographic references. A bold, contemporary solution, conscious of its heritage provides strong shelf presence and a flexible typographic system that could be easily adapted for new packaging and communication requirements. Tactile processes and beautiful materials with inherent colour integrity reflect the pure, natural ingredients, the intensity of flavour of the botanicals and the hands on craft approach.
